Hailakandi: The written test for seven numbers of posts of mondol slated for November 1 in Hailakandi district of Assam has been postponed to November 8.

Disclosing this, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Narendra Kumar Shah said that the exam date for filling up of seven posts of mondol has to be postponed to November 8 as several applicants pleaded for it on the ground that a similar examination is being held on the same date in Cachar district.

Shah further informed that as there was non availability of recorder class course certificate marksheet for some batches, weightage will not be given to marks obtained by the candidates in the said course. "Recorder class course certificate will be treated as qualifying eligibility criteria for the post of mondol," added Shah.

The examination to be held at SS College will consist of objective type questions on general knowledge, aptitude, and revenue related matters.
