EXCLUSIVE: How will Assam's politicians fare in 2021? Top Astrologer makes bold predictions

There are a lot of questions in our minds as the Assam Assembly elections are just around the corner. The main political players of the state have already started their campaign trail, with each day bringing new twists and turns in the political scenario of Assam. Jyotish Ratna Khargeshwar Goswami, a decorated astrologer from Assam, has studied the stars and revealed his predictions for Assam's politics in 2021 to Inside Northeast.

First things first., Who do you think will form the Government? The BJP looks strong, but the Congress-AIUDF combine seems to be snipping at its heels.

Till March 29, the BJP will be in a position to form the Government. There will be an alliance, but the BJP will be able to form the Government. Although the Congress will see better days from March 29 onwards, the BJP will be able to form the Government by stitching alliances.

The AIUDF -- a major player among the minorities -- is gearing up for an alliance with the Grand Old Party. How will it fare?

The AIUDF's decisions will be very strong. Their planet positions are good. In all likelihood, they will be able to stitch an alliance with the Congress. The supremo Badruddin Ajmal will remain as an MP or MLA, but he cannot rise to prominence as the AIUDF is unlikely to be a part of the ruling alliance.

How will Himanta Biswa Sarma, often dubbed as the Chanakya of the Northeast, fare? Will he finally become CM?

As per the calculation of the planets, Himanta Biswa Sarma's days are going good. However from 29 March 2021 to 28 July 2021, his days will be partially bad because of Jupiter. Because of this, he is unlikely to become CM. Sarbananda Sonowal is more likely to become the CM once again.

What are the chances of Lurin Jyoti Gogoi? What about the Asom Jatiya Parishad's chances in the polls?

Lurin Jyoti Gogoi might become an MLA. However, the AJP is unlikely to become the CM. They will have to merge with larger parties in order to stand a chance.

What do you think will happen to Akhil Gogoi? When will he be released?

Akhil Gogoi will see better days from March 29, 2020. As per my calculations, he is unlikely to be released before then.

What about the Asom Gana Parishad? What will happen to them?

AGP's condition is not going to be good in the 2021 polls. Even though their campaigning is going on with great gusto, their result will be very average and not-too-impressive.

What are the chances of BJP joining up with the new regional parties?

Many regional parties are likely to forge an alliance with the national power BJP. Although the AJP, the most prominent among the newer ones, will initially stand firm against BJP, it is possible that they might think of an alliance with the BJP after July 28.
