Zubeen Garg's Kanchanjangha recently made it to a show on ZeeETC. Bollywood trade analyst and television show host Komal Nahta was seen talking about the Assamese movie’s success at length and how Zubeen’s Kanchanjangha had garnered the love of the Assamese public. However, while talking about its release, host Komal Nahta, who is a renowned film critic, misinformed his viewers.
Nahta said "Assam mein Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, yeh sab aate hain, par Assamese film keval Assam state mein lagti hain" (Meghalaya, Arunachal fall within Assam, but Assamese films only run in the state of Assam).

It may be mentioned here that 'Kanchanjangha' is an Assamese movie starring none other than renowned singer and Assam heartthrob, Zubeen Garg. Garg himself played the role of the protagonist and the movie garnered much attention and appreciation. The movie even crossed South Indian juggernaut Bahubali 2’s collection in the state of Assam.
