Guwahati, November 6, 2018:

‘Swaraj Assam’ has filed an FIR against some Bengali Organisation leaders at Dispur police station, Guwahati, for destruction of public property, creating vandalism and humiliating women during Assam bandh on November 3.

In the FIR, Swaraj Assam pleaded the Dispur police to arrest the leaders at the earliest and prosecute them for contempt of Court.

Swaraj Assam has alleged that during the Assam bandh on November 3, the ‘Bengali Yuba Chatra Federation’ leaders Deepak Dey, Nirmal Kanti Sil, Sadou ‘Asom Bengali Haikhya Manch’ leaders Shantanu Mukherjee, Arun Roy, Sukumar Biswas and ‘Bongobashi Samaj’ leader Pradip Sen Sarma along with their supporters created havoc and humiliated few women in public places.
