FIR lodged against AIUDF leader for carrying out anti-national rally in Hojai

Guwahati, February 20, 2019:

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha on Wednesday lodged an FIR against All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) district president Helal Uddin Ahmed and Jamiyat leader Mustak Anfar in Hojai Police Station.

The FIR has been lodged against Mustak Anfar and Helal Uddin Ahmed for leading protest rally carried out by the student Jamiya Islamiya Jalaliya Madrassa sloganeering “Pakistan Zindabaad, Hindustan Murdabaad”.

The ABVP and BJP Yuva Morcha member have demanded immediate arrest of the duo and strict action against them.

It may be mentioned that on February 14, 49 jawans of the CRPF was martyred in a massive blast at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir by the Jaish-e-Muhammed terrorist group.

Following this many anti-national comments were posted on social media platforms especially on Facebook. Many youths from different parts of the state have been arrested for posting such comments.
