Guwahati, January 26, 2019:

An FIR has been lodged against Assam heartthrob Zubeen Garg for using ‘unparliamentarily words’ against the highest civilian award of India, the ‘Bharat Ratna’ in an audio clip that has gone viral on social media.

The FIR has been lodged by Satya Ranjan Borah, Hojai District Kisan Morcha secretary of BJP party in Lanka Police Station.

An audio has surfaced on social media that went viral where the singer sang his newly released song ‘Politics Nokoriba Bondhu’ along with some unparliamentary" words against Bharat Ratna Award.

It is to be mentioned that Assam’s Xudhakantha Bhupen Hazarika has been conferred the highest civilian award on Friday by Government of India for his contributions towards the socio-cultural sphere of the country.
