Foreign origin cigarettes worth Rs 52 lakhs seized in Mizoram

AIZAWL: Assam Rifles seized foreign-origin cigarettes worth Rs approximately 52 lakhs from Chhungte village in Champhai district of Mizoram.

On September 4 Serchhip Battalion of Assam Rifles along with the Customs Department of Mizoram conducted a joint operation and successfully recovered the contraband of foreign-origin cigarettes.

This was informed by the Assam Rifles on Twitter.
