Four Labourers Injured During Landslide in Assam’s Kahilipara

Guwahati, December 3, 2019:

As many as four labourers were injured on Tuesday after a guard wall of a house collapsed due to a massive landslide at Kahipara in Guwahati of Assam.

Reportedly, the labourers were rescued alive by the locals who were gutted in the soil after the landslide. The labourers sustained multiple injuries and were rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital for medical assistance.

However, the fourth labourer is yet to be rescued.

The locals said that all the labourers working in the area were women. Meanwhile, Dispur Police rushed to the spot for help.
