FOUR POACHERS ARRESTED IN CACHAR

In a joint operation of Assam Rifles and Assam police in Cachar, four poachers poachers were arrested from Bhoirabpur on tuesday. While four poachers were arrested, another poacher Habib Hussain who possessed a rhino horn made good his escape. The four poachers came to buy the rhino’s horn in Habib’s house when police arrested them. Police seized a vehicle from the poachers.

The four poachers have been identified as Moinuddin, Lokman Ali, Khalilur Rahman and Zakir Hussain. Habib Hussain, who is on the run is reportedly connected with the rhino killings in Kaziranga.
