Guwahati, November 27, 2018:

Lok Sabha member Gaurav Gogoi on Tuesday urged Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to provide support for the maintenance of law and order in Assam.

The Kaliabor MP highlighted the killings of five Bengali people on November 1 in Dhola, kidnapping of Rebati Phukan and assassination of students’ leader Lafikul Islam and said that it was clear from the incidents that the state government had failed to protect the lives of the people and maintain law and order in the state.
