Gaurav meets Akhil Gogoi at GMCH to take stock of his health

Congress MP from Kaliabor Gaurav Gogoi on Tuesday visited Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) to take stock of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) leader Akhil Gogoi.

Both Gaurav and Akhil had a conversation for about 30 minutes. After meeting Akhil, Gaurav said that the later is recovering. Gaurav also stated that the government has been keeping Akhil behind the bars without any reason.

On the formation of new political parties, Gaurav said that these parties are formed just for annoyance against the ruling government. However, he said that he welcomed the new political parties.
