Gold worth Rs 2 crore seized at Borjhar Airport

Guwahati, November 11, 2018:

The CISF have seized a huge quantity of gold worth Rs 2 crore from a person at the LGBI airport.

A source said that the gold was seized from a person during routine check up. The gold was being taken to Kolkata.

One person has been arrested in relation with the case. He has been identified as Lalthiyal Liyana of Aizwal.

The total weight of the gold seized is 6.5 kilograms. Currently the police are interrogating the accused.
