GRAM SWARAJ ABHIYAN: SPECIAL DRIVE ON OPENING OF ACCONTS, ENROLLMENT IN HAILAKANDI DISTRICT

As part of ongoing Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, awareness programmes are being conducted by the concerned banks in 11 identified villages of Hailakandi district for opening of bank accounts under PMJDY and enrollment under PMJJBY and PMSBY with the support of BDOs, NRLM and Gaon Panchayats.

Lead District Manager, United Bank of India, Hailakandi branch, informed Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi, Adil Khan about the action plan to enrol unbanked adults under the programmes. Meanwhile, awareness programmes organised in Polarpur, Bakrihower Part II and Bakrihower Part III under Algapur block drew a good response.
