HC grants bail to MP’s daughter in APSC scam

Guwahati (Assam), 1 Aug 2018:

BJP MP RP Sharma’s daughter Pallavi, who is an accused in the Assam Public Service Commission’s (APSC) cash-for-job scam, was granted bail for two weeks by Gauhati High Court on Wednesday.

Under judicial custody, Pallavi was granted bail due to her father’s ailment. The Lok Sabha MP underwent a kidney transplant recently and is keeping unwell since.

Pallavi was arrested in July this year.
