Heavy rain-cum-storm hits Guwahati city of Assam

Guwahati, March 26, 2016:

Guwahati city of Assam was hit by a severe storm on Tuesday. Strong gusts of wind hit the city at approximately 1 pm and people were left running helter-skelter on the streets. Shortly thereafter, heavy rain lashed the city at around 1:20 pm.

The storm and the rain has died down at the time of filing this report, but more brain is being expected in the city as per weather forecasts.

No damage to life and property have been reported so far. More details are awaited.
