High risk pregnancy centre opened at Ayursundra Hospital

Guwahati (Assam), August 19, 2018:

The Ayursundra Super Speciality Hospital in Guwahati on Sunday inaugurated a high risk pregnancy centre. It was followed by a workshop on “Gestational Diabetes Mellitus”.

Inaugurating the programme, popular Assamese actress Barsha Rani Bishaya said she was happy to be a part of the noble cause.

The programme was attended by many senior doctors including Dr Ayena Borthakur and Dr Alaka Goswami.

“With increasing age, the complications of pregnancy have also increased,” said senior gynecologist Dr Alaka Goswami. The hospital hopes to maintain healthy deliveries in the future.
