Himanta Biswa Sarma is the biggest Corona carrier, says AASU's Lurinjyoti

All Assam Students Union and Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma have been exchanging harsh words due to the concerns raised by the student organisation over the discrepancies related to the Corona. Meanwhile, Himanta Biswa Sarma (HBS) reacted back to the AASU by challenging them to enter the "corona centre without wearing PPE kit". To counter HBS's claims, Lurinjyoti Gogoi AASUGeneral Secretary responded by saying, "This is coming from a person who thinks Harvard Business School is named after him. AASU has no reason to talk with him. We have said in the name of corona some are doing drama, not that corona is Drama, Assam people are getting misled and those concerns need to be addressed. Himanta Biswa Sarma has PHD, why has he not understood the matter. Actually, since Congress, he has wanted to be the top leader and has not been able to do that. As such, he is a frustrated person".

On the issue of being asked by the State Health Minister to enter the COvid Centre without wearing PPE kit. Lurinjyoti Gogoi responded, "WHO and ICMR, where have they written that without PPE kit people can visit the centre. Jayanta Biswa Sarma his own brother and IMA has questioned him. In 15 years of being a health minister, only 60 ICU beds are there".

On the issue of community transmission, Lurinjyoti Gogoi said, "HBS himself has kidney disease and roaming about to spread community transmission. After that, he has gone to Delhi and Manipur where he has undertaken no quarantine. Then he goes to Lakhimpur to send people home and uploads a photo from quarantine to promote food. His own ministers are roaming about. The question is whether BJP mins has a different protocol for corona. Another Minister goes to Baghjan after one day in quarantine. During the time of Tablighi Jamaat, patient names were given to create a communal divide. Why has he not mentioned names now? Why was COVID-19 protocol broken?"

Lurinjyoti Gogoi wraps up by saying, "he is a PHD holder and he doesn't understand issues since the CAA Andolan and he has forgotten everything. He has forgotten that the Gujarat dialogue where he said that blood flows through the pipes of Gujarat. Some people at times forget through his social media because of misleading, the question is how can a diabetic person do blood donation. AASU has just raised the views where the people have said. Thus, HBS is the biggest COVID-19 carrier, people believe and by travelling Delhi, Manipur without quarantine, he has only spread the virus".
