"They had made such an environment that it felt that the four districts are outside the jurisdiction of Assam. Every penny spent here, in the BTC, belongs to Assam. The mindset is such that BTC is outside Assam."
Exuding confidence about forming the next BTC administration, Sarma stated that the BJP will be able to win at least 22 out of the 27 Seats that it is contesting in. "However, it will not be considered a major upset if we manage to win each of the 27 Seats that we will be contesting in."
It needs mention here that the BJP party was recently bolstered by the joining of former Bodoland People's Front Working
The BTC elections will be held in two phases on December 7 and 10. Counting of votes will be held on December 12.
