“No comment is not the answer for a politician whenever confronted by a journalist. It may be an answer for the army officer or bureaucrats. A politician should be ready with answer for any question. ‘No comment’ can never be my answer. Instead, I try to use the journalist with my information,” Sarma said.
“As far as speaking things which go awry, it depends on Saraswati Goddess. They day She graces my tongue, I speak everything right. And, the day She is offended with me, everything goes awry,” he said jestingly when pointed out that he sometimes court trouble for himself by speaking things which do not go down well with the people.

But, how would it look like when someone looking for my views on google 50 years later and find it ‘no comment’? So, I make it a point to share whatever information I have with journalists so that right information reach the people,” Sarma said.
