GUWAHATI: Union Home Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Shah will be on a day visit to Assam to campaign for the third and final phase of assembly election.
During his one day visit, Shah is likely to attend as many as three public meetings.
The home minister will address the first public meeting at Barpeta Road which is scheduled at 12 pm followed by another election rally at Bhabanipur at 1.30 pm. He will address the last public meeting of his visit at Sualkuchi at 3.05 pm.

Shah will be campaigning for BJP’s Sorbhog constituency candidate Sankar Chandra Das, Bhabanipur Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) candidate Ranjit Deka and Jalukbari candidate Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The third and final phase of the polls will be held in 40 constituencies on April 6. Counting will take place on May 2.
