Dr Sarma said, “When I meet BJYM members, it’s so heartening to see them chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai. In Congress we were taught “Rahul Gandhi Ki Jai.”

He also slammed the Congress by saying  that the party conspires with Pakistan to create unrest in India over the Rafale deal.

“Unlike former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru who left Assam at it’s fate during the Chinese invasion, our PM Narendra Modi calls Assam and the Northeast as integral part of India. Our PM and BJP President Amit Shah have been working to bring Northeast into the national mainstream,” said Dr Sarma.

Dr Sarma also assured the BJYM members present in the event that BJP will once again win more than 400 seats in the 2019 general elections.
