IIT-Guwahati student ‘commits suicide’

Guwahati (Assam), September 12, 2018:

A B.Tech student of the Indian Institute of Technology-Guwahati (IIT-G) allegedly committed suicide inside her hostel on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Nagashree Aithal who hailed from Karnataka. She was a B.Tech 1st year, Mechanical Engineering, student.

It was not immediately known what prompted Nagashree to commit suicide. The police rushed to the site. Investigation was on.
