Job scam in all departments by state government: Debabrata Saikia

The Leader of Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly Debabrata Saikia has said that the anomalies in job and irrigation department by the state government has come to light. Saikia also said that several Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and ministers are running job syndicates. There are brokers of the BJP leaders who have been running these syndicates and one can easily get a job by paying money to these brokers.

Saikia said that the SI recruitment exam scam is an standing example of the anomalies. Saikia further said that it has come to light from investigation that several BJP leaders and police officials are involved in the SI exam paper leak scam. He said that though several BJP leader and police officers involved in the scam have been arrested, till now other top ranking BJP brokers are still at large.

Saikia said that like the SI exam scam, the section assistant recruitment scam is no less. He added that no governing body for the recruitment was formed and the list published in the website did not have signature of any top government official. Saikia asked in such a case how could the recruitment exam be held. Moreover, APTECH who was entrusted with the responsibility of conduction is blacklisted, a fumed Saikia asked.

Debabrata Saikia has now demanded the state chief minister to constitute an inquiry by a judge of Gauhati High Court through which the real picture will come out.
