Justice Arup Kumar Goswami from Assam appointed as Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh

Meanwhile, Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court J.K Maheswari has been appointed as Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court.

On October 15, 2019, he was promoted to the post of Chief Justice of the Sikkim High Court. Prior to that, he was promoted to Senior Advocate from the Guwahati High Court on December 21, 2004. Later from 2011 to 2013 he served as the Executive Chairman of the Nagaland State Legal Service. He has twice served as the interim Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court since 2018.
