Karbi Body Demands 80 Per Cent Job Reservation in Assam Hills Medical College

Diphu, July 26, 2019:

The Karbi Student Association (KSA) President Bijoy Bey, Thangsing Timung General Secretary and along with all the Central team submitted a memorandum to Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma regarding the reservation 80 per cent job vacancy of Assam Hills Medical College (AHMC) for local indigenous people of Karbi Anglong.

The KSA urged for the renaming of Assam Hills Medical College (AHMC) as Ru-Semson Sing Ingti Medical Collage.

Following the demand of 80 per cent reservasion, Himanta Biswa Sarma assured that he will do his best to provide maximum job vacancy to the local indigenous people of Karbi Anglong.

Sarma added that now 3rd grade and 4th-grade appointment is under full control of KAAC, no SIU is required for this grade.
