Kaziranga National Park to re-open for visitors from October 21

The World heritage site Kaziranga National Park, home to the popular one-horned Indian rhinos,

will welcome tourists from October 21, 2020.

The Chief minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal will grace the opening ceremony at the national park which will commence from 11 am.

Earlier, the State Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya stated the intentions to start the plans of resuming operations at Kaziranga National Park.

"Kaziranga is being refuelled with the mesmerising beauty again and we will open it very soon for the visitors and nature lovers," Suklabaidya had said.

However, children below 10 years and senior citizens above 65 years will not be allowed inside the park, officials revealed.
