KMSS approaches Rajya Sabha MPs to vote against Citizenship Bill

Guwahati, February 2, 2019:

A delegation of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), AJYCP along with 70 organizations led by Akhil Gogoi held a meeting with the Rajya Sabha MP of Samajwadi Party MP, Ram Gopal Yadav to take stand against the proposed controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

However, Yadav has assured the delegation that the Bill is not likely to be presented in the Parliamentary session.

The delegation also met Rajya Sabha MP of Communist Party of India (CPI), D Raja and Rajya Sabha MP of Aam Aadmi Party, Sanjay Singh regarding the Bill.
