Guwahati, April 16, 2019:

Let’s take a tour to the Autonomous District Lok Sabha Constituency with the speculation of who will win the Lok Sabha election in the Phase-II.

Five parliamentary constituencies will go to polls in Phase-II that will be held on April 18, 2019. All together, five candidates are in the fray from the Autonomous District Lok Sabha constituency.

The candidates are: Horen Sing Bey from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Biren Sing Engti from Congress, Lienkhochon from National People’s Party (NPP), Holiram Terang (Autonomous State Demand Committee), and Jones Ingti Kathar (Independent).

The major battle will is expected to be between BJP candidate Horen Sing Bey and Congress candidate Biren Sing Engti.

Penetrating into the Constituency, the wind is blowing in favour of the BJP candidate Horen Sing Bey. The BJP candidate has found a unique way of campaigning in the region by composing songs supporting him and has hired some of the local youths to dance to it. The campaign by the bare- bodied dancers for Horen Sing Bey grabbed attention of the district and the state as well. The BJP candidate is also the only candidate who has followed the guidelines of the Election Commission by announcing the criminal cases filed against him in front of the press.

On the other hand, opponent Biren Sing Engtipi has carried out a relatively lacklustre campaign.
