Bodo People’s Front (BPF) candidate from Kokrajhar Pramila Rani Brahma has cast her valuable vote at 196 Polling Station Vidyapit High School at Kokrajhar early in the morning at 7:40 am during the third and final phase of polling in Assam.

Addressing the media from the polling station, the Minister said: “Blessings of God are upon me and I respect the aspirations of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma. I will not let the Bodo community face any injustice.”
“All other candidates will get a good chunk of votes as they all have a supporter base”, she added.
Nine candidates are in fray from the Kokrajhar (ST) Lok Sabha Constituency. The candidates are Sabda Ram Rabha of Congress, Pramila Rani Brahma of Bodoland People’s Front(BPF), Urkhao Gwra Brahma of United People’s Party (Liberal), Biraj Deka of CPI (M), Rajesh Narzary of Voters’ Party International, Charan Iswary of Purvanchal Janata Party (Secular), Naba Kumar Sarania, an Independent candidate, Ranjay Kumar Brahma and Prasenjit Kumar Das – both Independent candidates.
There are 2,347 polling stations under the Kokrajhar (ST) Lok Sabha constituency.
