Lok Sabha elections | Congress almost finalizes 4 candidates from Assam

Guwahati, March 29, 2019:

Four names have started doing the rounds after the Congress party’s Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting held at Janpath, New Delhi has come to an end. As per sources, the Congress is likely to announce its candidates from Guwahati, Barpeta, Dhubri and Kokrajhar Constituencies today.

Although the names have not been confirmed, sources have reported that the four lower Assam Constituencies will be contested by:

Bobbeeta Sharma – Guwahati

Abdul Khaleque – Barpeta

Abu Taher Bepari – Dhubri

Sabda Rabha – Kokrajhar
