Major Blast Rocks Assam's Sonari ahead of R-Day Celebrations

Sonari, January 21, 2020:

With a few days left to go until Republic Day celebrations are held across the nation, a major blast has been reported from Sapekhuti Chariali in Sonari, Assam.

According to reports, the blast took place at night on Monday. Pictures and video footage released from the blast site shows that a huge crater has been formed at the site where the explosive was set off.

This blast in Sonari has reportedly created fear in the minds of the people living in the area. Meanwhile, police and army personnel have reached the blast site and an investigation is on.
