Major Reshuffle in the Assam Police Administration

In a major reshuffle of the police department Assam police administration in the Sarbananda Sonowal Government, as mentioned in an order on Thursday, February 21, 2019

Ranjan Bhuyan, APS Deputy Commissioner of Police is transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police, Assam.

Pratap Singh IPS Commandant 6th APBn is transferred and posted as Commandant 15th AP (IR) Bn.

Sanjib Sekher Roy APS Commandant 15Th AP (IR) Bn.

Mihir Goswami, IPS Commandant 1st AFPF Bn, Basistha Guwahati,is transferred and posted as Superintendent of PoliceFRRO Headquarters.

Musleh Uddin Ahmed APS Commandant, 19th AP (IR) Bn, Tengakhat Dibrugarh is transferred and posted as Commandant.

Jitendra Kr Doley, IPS Commandant 22nd AP(IR) Bn Dhemaji is transferred and posted as Commandant 2nd AFPF Bn Sekoni, Jakhalabandha.

Shantanu Sharma Pathak, APS Commandant 20th AP (IR) Bn Panbari, Dhubri.

Satyajit Nath, APS Addl Superintendent of Police, Darrang, will hold the charge post in the rank of SP and posted as Superintendent of Police FRRO Headquarters Jorhat against existing vacancy.

Ripul Das APS, Additional Superintendent of Police Nagoan is posted Asst Inspector General of Police, Ulubari.

Kamal Kumar Gupta APS, Addl Superintendent of Police, Kokrajhar is allowed to hold the charge post in the rank of SP and posted as Superintendent of Police FRRO Headquarters Guwahati.

Leena Doley, APS Additional Superintendent of Police, Majuli is allowed to hold the charge post in the rank of SP and posted as Superintendent of Police CID, Assam Ulubari.

Suren Machary APS Addl Superintendent of Police, Nalbari is allowed to hold charge post in the rank of SP and posted as Superintendent of Police FRRO, Headquarters Bongaigoan.

Patrick Ronghang APS Adl Superintendent of Police, Shivsagar is allowed to hold the charge post in the rank of SP and posted as Superintendent of Police FRRO, Headquarters Silchar.

Miranda Kadom Ingtipi APS, Addl Deputy Commissioner of Police, Guwahati is posted as Superintendent of Police, FRRO Headquarters Nagaon.

Pabindra Kr Nath APS Superintendent Commissioner of police Assam Ulubari, Guwahati is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Human Rights Commission, Assam.

Bijoy Giri Kuligam IPS Commandant 8th APBn Abhayapuri is transferred and posted as commandant 26th AP(IR) Bn Mankachar South Salmara.
