Tinsukia, July 2, 2019:

The prehistoric Hindu scriptures have predicted that in the 'Kalyug' (the last 'age'), people will ignore the importance of relationships, and people will only lust after money and material riches. Perhaps the prophecy has come true, for we are reaching a stage where children are starting to treat their parents as a 'burden', at the same time, a Kalyugi Shravan Kumar has emerged who is showing people the true importance of relationships. This real life hero's name is D. Krishna Kumar.

This person has become a great example in front of all as he is showing people the true meaning and value of relationships.

D Krishna Kumar, living in Karnataka, Mysore has earned plaudits for his dedication towards his family. After leaving his cushy job, D. Krishan Kumar is taking his 70-year-old mother Churarta Devi on a tour of every single pilgrimage spot in the country on an old and rusty Bajaj Chetak scooter that was gifted by his late father!

The momma's boy started his journey on January 16, 2018, on the Bajaj Chetak scooter after his father's demise. The devoted son has visited 15 states in the country on the Bajaj Chetak scooter. Not only this, he has also crossed the frontier and visited Nepal and Bhutan. In all, he has covered about 40,410 kms of journey on his trusted Bajaj Chetak.

On Sunday evening, Kalyugi Shravan Kumar De Krishna Kumar reached his mother on a scooter and reached the temple of Shyam Baba, located at Manav Kalyan Road, in Tinsukia, where he visited the religious 'Baba' and worshipped him.

Even after reaching Tinsukia after such an arduous journey, his face beamed up with a smile as helping his mother's dream come true. He was accorded a warm welcome by the residents of Assam's Tinsukia town. After resting in Tinsukia for a day, the Kalyugi Shravan Kumar departed for Parshuram Kund in Arunachal.

D. Krishna Kumar's mother, while talking to media persons, said: "I am very happy and I am proud of my son. I consider myself lucky to have a son like him. Children of the present day leave their parents, but my son is taking me to every single temple in every corner of the country. How lucky I am!"
