MHA assures to resolve Bodoland issue

Guwahati, November 19, 2018:

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has assured to resolve the long pending Bodoland issue in order to bring sustainable and permanent peace in the region as per demand raised by ABSU and PJACBM.

The home ministry also assured to call the movement group in the second week of December for further discussions inside the government level.

The ABSU, PJACBM and the Home Minister thoroughly discussed issues related to protection of tribal land rights and cultural identity. The ministry also assured to take all necessary measure.

The discussions were held in North Block, MHA in New Delhi.
