Miscreants rob Tilinga Mandir

Guwahati, November 22:

After the sensational theft case in Guwahati’s Ugratara temple, miscreantshas robbed the famous Tilinga mandir located at Bordubi in Tinsukia district of Upper Assam.

Reportedly, few miscreants robbed several tilingas (bells) from the temple.

The locals informed about the robbery to the police and during search operation, two suspects: Saminur Rahman and Salam Ali were detained and the tilingas were recovered from their possession.

The Tilinga Mandir also known as Bell temple of Lord Shiva  is one of the most popular pilgrimage site in Upper Assam.
