Model Rajkanya Baruah hit and run case: One victim succumbs to his injury

Joseph Marak, one of the victim in the Rajkanya Baruah drunk and hit case, to succumbed to his injures today morning.

Marak was undergoing treatment at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and had already lost both his legs in the accident.

On October 2, Baruah who is an entrepreneur reportedly knocked down eight Public Works Department workers in the Rukminigaon area of Guwahati.

She was returning home from a late-night party from the Vivanta By Taj hotel located in Khanapara amid the government-induced Covid-19 curfew.

Baruah was arrested on October 7, five days after the reported accident.
