    Motor transport workers call 24-hour chakka bandh

    Guwahati (Assam), 6 Aug 2018:

    The All India Coordination Committee of motor transport workers’ union has called a 24-hour chakka bandh from 5 am on Tuesday.

    The union called the chakka bandh opposing the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, demanding GST in petrol and diesel, implementation of welfare schemes for motor vehicle workers and withdrawal of toll gates in Assam.
