According to reports, shifting the journalist to Taloja jail wasn't intimated to Arnab Goswami's lawyers.

The Bombay High Court on Saturday reserved its order on an interim bail plea of Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami who was arrested in abetment of suicide case, without giving him any immediate relief.

The verdict would be pronounced at 3 pm on Monday.

The Division Bench of Justice S.S. Shinde and M.S. Karnik said that they will pass the order at the earliest, without giving any further date.

On Saturday, Alibag sessions court adjourned a hearing on a Raigad police plea to November 9, challenging the magistrate court order refusing to send Journalist Arnab Goswami to police custody.

Arnab Goswami’s ex-boss Vineet Jain, MD of Times of India Group on Sunday reacted to the journalist’s arrest. Jain tweeted, “#ArnabGoswami should not be arrested for misinterpretation of the law regarding abetment to suicide. Gov should alter 1000’s of such laws that are abused by gov themselves(center/state). Sedition is one such law that is abused to counter valid criticism.”
