My Lord do not discriminate your own children: Shiladitya Dev

Guwahati (Assam), September 24, 2018:

Shiladitya Dev of Hojai legislation, popular for his controversial remarks attended the autumn session of the 14^th Assam Legislative Assembly holding a placard protesting against the Assam National Register of Citizens (NRC) updation exercise on Monday.

The placard displayed slogan, “MY LORD DO NOT DISCRIMINATE YOUR OWN CHILDREN- HINDU BORN IN INDIA”. The placard was brought for Justice Ranjan Gogoi who is in the Supreme Court Bench for monitoring the Assam NRC updation process.

The house is expected to witness immense attacks to corner the government on NRC update exercise, detention centres, price rise and scam issues.
