NCHAC Election results declared, BJP candidates dominate

Guwahati, January 23, 2019:

The results of the 12th North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) elections have been declared. Out of the 28 seats, the BJP have won nineteen, independent candidates have won 6 seats, Congress won two seats and the AGP have won one seat.

The winners of the election are:

Haflong constituency - Daniel Langthasa (Congress)

 

Diyungbra constituency - Nobojit Hojai (BJP)

 

Lower Khartong constituency - Namrothang Hmar (BJP)

 

Hamri constituency - Monjit Naidang (BJP)

 

Hadingma  constituency - Debojit Bathari (BJP)

 

Dihamlai constituency - Rmagalunbe Jeme (independent)

 

Dolong constituency Suauthangjen Hrangkhol (independent)

 

Semkhor constituency - Ranu Langthasa (BJP)

 

Digher constituency - Hem Samuel Changsang (BJP)

 

Hajadisa constituency - Projith Hojai (BJP)

 

Gunjung constituency - Nojit Hojai (BJP)

 

Khartong constituency – Lalremsiama Darnei (BJP)

 

Maibang west Constituency - Bijit Langthasa (independent)

 

Laisong constituency -  Paudaming Nriame (BJP)

 

Hatikhali constituency Independent candidate Bimal Hojai win.

 

Jatinga constituency – Flaming Rupsi Shylla (independent)

 

Mahur constituency - Rahul Naiding (BJP)
