NDFB (P) Observes 31st Martyr’s Day in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, September 14, 2019:

Members of the National Democratic Front of Boroland-Progressive (NDFB-P) observed their 31st Martyr’s Day to mark sacrifices of cadres of the militant outfit organization for the cause of Boroland state demand.

An event was held at their designated camp in Serfanguri in Kokrajhar to commemorate the occasion. All the cadres and members of the NDFB-P wore a black badge to commemorate the occasion.

NDFB (P) leader B. Benga hoisted the organizational flag to mark the occasion. On the other hand, All Bodo Students' Union General Secretary Lawrence Islary flagged off the tribute to the martyrs.

As many as 300 people paid tribute to the martyrs during the 31st Martyr's Day ceremony.

On the day, all factions of the NDFB remembered over 2,000 leaders, cadres and civilians who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the Boro people in the hands of the successive occupational forces.
