Nirmal Nunisa resigns from APDCL

Guwahati, October 26, 2018:

The Director of Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL), Nirmal Nunisa has tendered resignation from his post on Friday.

According to reports, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA was disgruntled with the party’s activities and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal’s silence over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

Ninisa termed the CM’s silence over the issue as unfortunate.
