Now, two sisters accuse Rajen Gohain of raping them

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 14, 2018:

Trouble mounts for rape-accused Minister of State for Railways, Rajen Gohain, as two sisters filed an FIR with the Nagaon Sadar Police Station alleging that they were sexually-harassed by him.

The duo alleged that the four-time Nagaon MP had promised them of government jobs before committing the crime around eight months ago. As per reports, a case under Section 376 of the IPC was registered against him.

Meanwhile, the Mahila Congress on Tuesday staged protests at some places, including Guwahati, demanding Gohain’s sacking and arrest. The protests were led by All India Mahila Congress chief and Silchar MP, Sushmita Dev.
