ONE MORE ACCUSED IN TIHU GANG-RAPE CASE ARRESTED

Guwahati, October 27, 2018:

The Tihu police on Saturday arrested one of the three accused involved in the gang-rape of a woman.

Kishor Mohan Das who had been absconding ever since committing the crime was arrested from a hideout. Another two accused Rupdhan Ali and Merajul Ali are still at large.

Nurul Ali and  Bakkul Nath were arrested by the police immediately after committing the crime. Police had also seized the car in which the crime was committed.

It may be mentioned that a married woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving vehicle by five men. The victim was later abandoned in a forest with her hands and legs tied.
