Panchayat polls: officers refuse to work further without food supply in Assam district

Guwahati, December 13, 2018:

The officials engaged in counting of vote of the Panchayat polls in a polling station in Titabor in Jorhat have refused to continue count without food supply.

The officials complained that they had not been provided with food since Wednesday morning. They informed that counting for two more Panchayat seats is left which they have refused to do until food is supplied to the officials.
