A ten days long training on para motoring for the youths was organised in association with the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) at Dheer Beel, also known as Chakrasila wild life sanctuary in Kokrajhar of Assam.
Addressing the media, director of the BTC Tourism Department, Mahon Brahma said that the paragliding adventure was introduced four years ago by the Bodoland Tourism Department.
Brahma added, paramotor training is on for youths at Dheer Beel and two pilots from Delhi are training the youths and after completion of the training, BTC Tourism Department will purchase two to three powered paramotor equipment for the voyage lovers.
Venture lovers from Sikkim, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and many other states will be participating in the adventure events at Dheer Beel from January onwards.
The adventure events will also provide activities like mountaineering, rafting, adventure trips, trekking, zapping etc in the Northeast as well as across the country by the co-founders Hemen Borah and Sashi Sekhar Boro of Adventurer’s Abode in Guawhati.
