Nagaon, May 7, 2019:

How the Government hospitals are being operated in the state is not an unknown factor to the people.

But the question is, what are the facilities being provided to the patient in such hospitals?

Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and State Health Minister Pijush Hazarika have been announcing several new medical colleges and health schemes each year. But how is it bettering the condition of the poor people dwelling in the State?

Let’s take a look at one of the Government hospitals in the State.

The pathetic condition of the Governmental medical system is revealed by the condition of the patients in Bhogeswari Phukanani Civil Hospital in Nagaon as they are lacking the basic medical facilities.

The patient’s attendants have complained that the nurses have asked them to lay the patients on the floor due to lack of beds in the hospital.

Whereas, many alleged that the doctors do not arrive on time. The patients have often been lying on the ground shivering in cold.

If this is the condition of the civil hospital in an area proves that the Government has failed to a large extent in providing proper facilities to the residents of the state.
