Opinion: People of Assam culturing a 'Bifid' organism?

What can be more contradictory than the verdict of the same person flipping after gaining power?

Lets go back to the Facebook post of 28 June 2014 by Sarbananda Sonowal who was not Chief Minister then:

Government’s live example of deploying and misleading the public! Here comes our former Jatiya Nayak’s promise before coming into power. His lines were:

“Regional politics of the North East region is deeply influenced by the influx of people from other regions as well as neighbouring countries like Myanmar and Bangladesh, notably the latter. However, I want to assure people of North Eastern states that the central government's stand on illegal immigrants is very clear. Our government is determined to detect them and deport them immediately. We will first detect them and then deport.”

Strange isn’t it? And now the same person has gained the title of Chief Minister, he is sitting dumb. At the time when the same Jaati needs his protection, he is hibernating under the shells of the BJP.

Did the people really confer the title of Jatiya Nayak on Sonowal to witness this day? No, right?

At least people of Assam expected the Chief Minister to take a stand and show a strong opinion just like the Chief Minister of Meghalaya and other northeastern states who wasted no time to stand by their own people.

The same people who conferred the title of “Jatiya Nayak” are now calling him the “Jatiya Khalnayak” and why not?
