Guwahati, April 21, 2019:

The election campaigning ahead of the third phase of election General elections, to be held on 23 April, will come to an end today.

Campaigns are on in full swing in the state of Assam, where the people from four Constituencies - Gauhati, Dhubri, Barpeta, and Kokrajhar - will head to the polls on Tuesday.

In Assam, the BJP party has organized a massive bike rally that is headed from Khanapara in Guwahati to Hajo on the outskirts of the city. Moreover, Himanta Biswa Sarma has five rallies planned for the day.

The Congress, meanwhile, has organized many elections across the state, but things turned ugly yesterday when a miscreant hurled a stone at Congress' MGVK Bhanu while campaigning.

Moreover, many rallies are being planned by all parties and candidates in all the four Constituencies on this last day of elections.

It may be mentioned that 116 constituencies, spread over 13 states and 2 Union Territories, will head to the polls on Tuesday.

In the third phase, voting will take place for all 26 constituencies in Gujarat; 20 in Kerala; 14 each in Maharashtra and Karnataka; 10 in Uttar Pradesh; seven in Chhattisgarh; six in Odisha; five each in Bihar and West Bengal; four in Assam; two in Goa; one each in Jammu and Kashmir, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Tripura.
