GUWAHATI: To boost the momentum of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) campaign in poll-bound Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the state today to address an election rally in Chabua constituency.
PM Modi will arrive at Chabua airport in his special aircraft at 2.35 pm. He will then leave for the meeting venue by chopper at 2.40 pm and reach at 3 pm. He will address the gathering at 3.20 pm before flying back to New Delhi from Jorhat airport.
PM Modi is also expected to revisit Assam on March 21, March 24, March 28, April 1 and April 3. He is likely to address election rallies in Bokakhat on March 21, Bihpuria on March 24, Silapathar on March 28, Bijni on April 1 and Tamulpur on April 3.

During his visit earlier visit to Karimganj on Thursday, he addressed a mega election rally at Batgram in Karimganj North constituency.
The assembly elections in Assam will be held in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6. Counting of votes will take place on May 2 with rest of the states going to polls.
